Terms of Service

Welcome to GoSolo World ("GoSolo", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoSolo World mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By registering for an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use GoSolo World.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirements

GoSolo World is intended solely for users aged 18 and older. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts and Registration

To use most features of GoSolo World, you must register for an account using your email or a supported third-party provider (such as Google Sign-In). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Safeguard your password and login credentials.
• Notify us immediately at gosolo.world@gmail.com if you discover unauthorized access to your account.
• Remain responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

3. User-Generated Content & Community Guidelines

GoSolo World enables users to create and share travel itineraries, photos, stories, tips, and comments ("User Content"). To maintain a safe and inspiring community, you must adhere strictly to our Community Guidelines:

You agree that you will NOT post, upload, or publish any User Content that:

• Contains abusive, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, hateful, or violent material.
• Promotes illegal activities, substances, or self-harm.
• Infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Distributes spam, malware, phishing links, commercial advertisements, or deceptive solicitations.

4. Content Moderation & Reporting Mechanism

In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies for apps featuring User-Generated Content:

• In-App Reporting: Every post, story, and comment contains an option to report inappropriate or abusive content.
• User Blocking: You can block any user directly within the app. Blocked users cannot view your profile or interact with your posts.
• Moderation Action: Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. Content violating these Terms will be promptly removed, and offending accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated.
• Direct Abuse Contact: You can also report violations directly to gosolo.world@gmail.com.

5. License to User Content

You retain ownership of the photos, itineraries, and stories you post on GoSolo World. However, by publishing content marked as "Public", you grant GoSolo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and displaying the Service to other travelers.

Content you mark as "Private" remains accessible only to you and is not shared publicly.

6. AI Trip Planner Disclaimer

GoSolo World offers an AI-powered itinerary generator. Itinerary recommendations, estimated costs, activity schedules, and route suggestions are generated algorithmically for inspirational and planning purposes only:

• We do not guarantee the real-time accuracy of business hours, prices, availability, visa requirements, or safety conditions of recommended destinations.
• You are solely responsible for verifying travel requirements, booking reservations, exercising personal caution, and maintaining your own safety while traveling solo.

7. Intellectual Property

The GoSolo World name, logo, software code, graphic designs, interfaces, and branding are the intellectual property of GoSolo World and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of our platform without prior written authorization.

8. Account Termination & Data Deletion

You may terminate your account at any time:

• In the app: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
• Via web: Visit our Account Deletion Page or email gosolo.world@gmail.com.

Upon deletion, all your profile data, trips, posts, photos, and associated content will be permanently removed from our active databases in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, GOSOLO WORLD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL GOSOLO WORLD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TRAVEL ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN PURSUANT TO CONTENT FOUND ON THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will indicate the date of the latest update at the top of this page. Your continued use of GoSolo World following updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
